Tomatoes, pickled with cherry plum, very tasty
Yellow plum transmits its unique flavor to pickled tomatoes. In addition, the sour berry acts as a natural conservative in homemade tomatoes marinated for the winter. Such preservation without vinegar can be safely given to children. A recipe with step by step photos will help you to repeat the process easily.

Products:
- tomatoes - 1.9 kg;
- sugar - 4 tbsp. l (with a slide);
- cherry plum (sour) - 300 g;
- salt - 2 tbsp. l (no slide);
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- parsley - a few twigs;
- black pepper peas - 6 pcs .;
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc .;
- laurel leaf - 2 pcs .;
- mustard seeds - ½ tsp.
How to cook pickled tomatoes with cherry plum
Wash out carefully prepared tomatoes for conservation. So that, when in contact with boiling water on the tomatoes, the skin does not burst, we make neat punctures with a toothpick on the skin of the tomatoes around the attachment point of the stalk.
Wash plum. The cherry plum we take is not garden (large and sweet), but wild (yellow and small).
If there are a lot of three-liter jars for this preservation, then you can close 3 liter cans with this recipe. We wash the dishes, in which we decided to do the harvesting, with water and soda or with dry mustard. Clean the dishes in a convenient way.
Sterilized jars are filled to the top with tomatoes and cherry plum, alternating vegetables with fruit. Do not forget to put in the banks, pepper, peas, parsley and bay leaves. Boil clean water.
Bay cans with tomatoes and cherry plum boiling water, cover them with sterilized lids and a thick towel for 15 minutes. Then pour the water into the cooking vessel, boil and refill the vegetables in the jars with boiling water for 15 minutes.
After the time has expired, drain the water in the cooking bowl, add sugar and salt to it. After boiling the spices in water until completely dissolved, we fill the cans with this syrup, adding mustard seeds to the jars beforehand. Hermetically closing the jars, turn them on the covers. Now we wrap canned tomatoes with cherry plum with a thick rug, leaving them under the rug to cool completely.
We store pickled tomatoes with cherry plum in a cool place.
